Background, Border,Layer style addition Technique

My second post will be adding background and border to original image.
Pictures used are my kids picture with her friend,which i presented to them as Valentine cards for their Valentine party at school in their Goody Bags.

Tools used are crop tool  -  To cut out the image

Background Image          -  Help of Google

Style applied for image    -  Inner shadow,stroke are the blending options

Border                            -   Pink and purple border merged with 25 pixel radius

There are three layers involved one with background,one for picture and the other for border.

Layers are very essential in Photoshop , a simple image like this can hold upto 3-4 layers,
some images can hold upto 50-60 layers which are seen in malls and in movie all the graphic version.

Somehow i just fell in love with photoediting work, friends who kept asking me about writing a food blog somehow i dint make that but turned out to be a photography editing blog.

Monochrome Editing Technique

My first post  is called monochrome editing where only the selected colors/subject are projected  and the rest are left with  grayscale view mostly.

Tool Used are  Magnetic Lasso Tool            -  To cut out the Tulip
                        Hue and Saturation Tools     -   To blend the grayscale view with the subject

I really liked this selection which blends with the gray background leaving this bright yellow tulip pop out.
My first post on Photoshop and will like to keep updating with more design editing techniques.

I am in the process of learning Adobe Photoshop and will like to keep myself updated so here comes a blog,its also a way of updating my skills on different Photoworks Techniques like Indesign,Ilustrator,Dreamweaver which i have in my next semester.

I will add  my favourite photos sections or the place must visit sections.

Hopefully this will start a new path for my career..
